1.) Am certain someone has or soon will write a similar book.
2.) It is probably beyond my ability to give it full justice. At the same time, it is probably the best writing I've done.
As always, this is my book and my idea and it really doesn't matter if someone is doing it or doing it better. I always say, you could give the same idea to a hundred writers and they'd all come up with something different.
All I know is that this book is coming together so naturally that it is mean to be, somehow. I'll imbue it with everything I got and maybe it will transcend my natural limitations.

There is some kind of confederation of horror. Half the people I Follow or Friend seem to have 50 people in common and what they have in common is blood and gore.
Ah, my people.
I know that this community was very welcoming when I first came back to writing, even though I don't think of myself primarily as a horror writer.
But it does seem to be a genre that is more open to ideas. And anything can be given a horror twinge.
I've been writing fantasy and thrillers lately, because that's the direction my muse has gone, but I still appreciate that the horror community is so strong.
AN UPDATE: So once I added a bunch of folk who share 50 friends, suddenly I'm offered folk with a 100 friends in common!
A confederation indeed.
